From cleaning lady to electrician: The story of Ioana
Meet our colleague Ioana Gosav. She is one of the trainees at our training facility in Galati, Romania. She was working for a cleaning company when she heard that Alewijnse opened the registration for an electricians training. “I didn’t have any prior training or knowledge in this field, but I wanted a change and learn something new.”
With three months of theoretical courses and four months of actual practice, the trainees learn how to read an electrical plan and get their hands on cables, which are crucial for beginners such as Ioana.
“I consider that being a part of this team is an important step forward for me. I evolved and learned a lot in these past few months. At the top of the list, I would mention the realisation that it is rarely about how much you do, but most of all, it is about how well you do and the effort that you put in”, says Ioana.
