Sustainable electrical power supply for OOC Terminals
Alewijnse has successfully extended the electrical power supply of a facility at OOC terminals. This marks an important step in OOC terminals' ambition to make freight transport more sustainable.

Making freight transport more sustainable
OOC terminals offers storage and transhipment of feed and food commodities according to GMP+, agricultural and mineral raw materials as well as recycling products. The company operates trimodally: It can connect three modes of transport – train, ship and truck – and use them in different sequences or even parallelly (synchromodal).
Electrical expansion
For the storage and transfer centre, Alewijnse's industry team installed an extension of a 630kVA compact substation with distributors and cabling. Thanks to thorough planning and close cooperation with OOC Terminals, Alewijnse kept the impact on operational activities to a minimum t, allowing the logistics process to continue uninterrupted.
Successful cooperation
This project illustrates the successful cooperation between Alewijnse and OOC Terminals in the expansion of the electrical facilities, enabling OOC Terminals to further realise its sustainability goals.
