Electrical works on newly introduced Fast Crew Supplier 7011

Alewijnse has successfully completed the commissioning stage of the electrical works on the Fast Crew Supplier 7011, a newly introduced crew transfer solution by Damen Shipyards Group. The 73.6-meter-long vessel, recognized as ground-breaking in terms of speed, comfort and accessibility, is entirely made of aluminum and can reach a speed of up to 40 knots, while transferring crew and materials to offshore platforms or different working points on the water.

The scope of Alewijnse for this water jet propulsion vessel is the electrical installation consisting in electrical switchboards, alarm monitoring & control system, different systems and equipment, including assistance to installing and set to work. The project is a sound example of OneAlewijnse: engineering was developed in Holland, whereas commissioning and supervision was performed by Romanian colleagues.
