Service Engineer - Software PLC / SCADA

What are you going to do?

As a Service Engineer Software at Alewijnse, you will be the driving force behind optimising advanced automation systems. Enjoy the freedom to work independently and create innovative solutions while testing applications for offshore vessels and transport ships.

Your role:

• Troubleshooting failures in various automation systems;
• Implementing smart modifications and upgrades for maximum system performance;
• Work independently with a focus on finding innovative solutions;
• Bring new PLC/SCADA systems to life and optimise existing installations;
• Advise the client based on your knowledge and expertise;
• Providing remote support troubleshooting.

You will also play an active role in application testing, both in the office and on site. This includes testing alarm, monitoring, power management and control systems on various ships, including offshore vessels and transport ships.

Who are you?

Do you have extensive experience as a Software Engineer? Do you also have an interest in the maritime sector, with specific expertise in PLC and SCADA systems? Your knowledge is not only valuable, but you also have the power to inspire and guide others.

Your expertise:

• Diploma MBO Elektrotechniek and/or Industrial Automation and/or Software Engineering;
• Skilled in Dutch and English, both orally and in writing;
• Willingness to travel, including international assignments.
